Initiative overview
This project aims to expand GRNET’s cloud computing infrastructure to better support the country’s research and academic community. As researchers and educators need more powerful and flexible computing tools, the existing system needs to grow to meet these increasing demands.
The goal is to improve the cloud platform by adding more capacity and advanced services tailored to scientific and academic work. This will allow users to access resources like high-performance computing and data storage through a centralized system.
GRNET leads the project, working closely with universities and research centers to upgrade hardware and software, ensuring the platform is secure and easy to use. Training and support will help users benefit from the new capabilities.
