Initiative overview

France has launched a targeted call for proposals to speed up the adoption of generative AI in the economy. The initiative is managed by Bpifrance, acting as an operator of the government’s France 2030 investment plan, which is overseen by the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty.

The call focuses on the downstream part of the generative AI value chain, prioritising projects that can deliver short-term, practical applications.
