Initiative overview

AIDA is a four-year Horizon Europe project (Grant 101095359; ~€7 million incl. UKRI support) coordinated by INCLIVA (Spain) to develop and validate an AI assistant for gastric-cancer prevention. The consortium brings together 12 centres of excellence from 8 countries, including the University of Latvia and the Hospital of Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Kaunas Clinics. The workplan targets a deployable solution—with certification as a medical device—covering diagnosis of precancerous gastric inflammation, personalised therapy selection and follow-up monitoring.
