Initiative overview
The “Engineers for 1 Day” programme is a Portuguese initiative under INCoDe.2030 that seeks to challenge gender stereotypes in engineering and ICT by giving basic and secondary school students hands-on exposure to these fields. Through laboratory activities, mentoring, role-model sessions and professional experiences — delivered in partnership with schools, higher education institutions, industry and municipalities — it aims to inspire everyone to see engineering and tech careers as accessible.
