Key objectives include:

  • Advance interdisciplinary research by integrating neuroscience, AI, and brain science.
  • Develop innovative tools and applications for health, cognition, and human–machine interaction.
  • Strengthen Spain’s position as a European leader in neurotechnology and AI.
  • Foster collaboration between academia, industry, and international research centres.

The signing of the agreement marks the formal establishment of the centre, which will serve as a national reference point for innovation in neurotechnology. It aligns with Spain’s broader strategy to invest in emerging technologies and strengthen the connection between science and industry.
