Initiative overview

In February 2020, the agency published a guideline report addressing concerns regarding privacy compliance and the design and implementation of AI-based processors from the point of view of GDPR. In January 2021, the agency published a guideline establishing requirements for audits of data treatments that use AI. The goal of this guideline is to establish a first approach to a set of controls that could be incorporated into audits of personal data processing that make use of artificial intelligence (AI) based components.The initiative has the following objectives:Ensuring compliance with the regulatory framework for the Protection of Personal Data in Spain. They issue reports that are linked to Artificial Intelligence, such as those mentioned above.
