Initiative overview

There are high hopes for the potential benefits created by generative AI such as ChatGPT, while concerns are growing over AI-induced risks related to safety. Major countries and international organizations, recognizing that ensuring AI trust as a prerequisite to the development of AI industry, proposed guidelines and other voluntary measures to ensure AI safety. The initiative is aimed at addressing AI's innate technological limitations, including bias and the lack of transparency, as well as its potential risks, such as malfunction and failures.
