Initiative overview

France’s agritech acceleration strategy uses AI and France 2030 funding to promote digital farming and data platforms. A central project is Agdatahub, a neutral data intermediary that enables farmers, co-operatives, and agri-food companies to share information securely with clear consent rules. The platform underpins services like traceability, decision support, and interoperability, and is aligned with European initiatives such as Gaia-X and AgriDataSpace. Supported by national funding and private investment, Agdatahub is expanding from national deployment to a role in EU-wide data spaces, positioning France as a leader in agricultural data governance and innovation.
