Slovenia's eHealth Strategy for 2022–2027, titled “eHealth for a Healthier Society”, is a comprehensive initiative developed with support from the European Commission’s Structural Reform Support Programme. The strategy outlines the objectives and priorities for the development of eHealth in Slovenia, focusing on enhancing patient care, improving system efficiency, and facilitating data-driven decision-making.
Key Objectives:
- Unified Electronic Health Record (eHealth Record): The strategy emphasizes the introduction of a single electronic health record system, aiming to centralize patient data, enhance accessibility, and improve the continuity of care across the healthcare system.
- National Telehealth Framework: A national telehealth framework is being designed to facilitate the provision of remote healthcare services, ensuring broader access to medical consultations and reducing geographical barriers to healthcare delivery.
