As part of the European Chips Joint Undertaking, Slovenia envisages the establishment of a consortium of public RTOs, which will manage the role of the Competence Centre for chips and semiconductors, to be located at the University of Maribor’s Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (FERI UM).

Slovenia is planning to create a consortium of public research and technology organizations (RTOs) as part of the European Chips Joint Undertaking. This consortium will serve as the Competence Centre for chips and semiconductors, providing expertise and support for research, development, and innovation in the sector.
