This measure of the Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport aims at supporting companies involved in the important project of common European interest in microelectronics and communication technologies (IPCEI ME/CT) in carrying out R&D activities, including the first industrial deployment of pilot solutions, in the framework of R&D projects in the field of microelectronics, semiconductors, microchips and communication technologies.

Initiative overview

Slovenia is actively supporting companies engaged in the Important Project of Common European Interest in Microelectronics and Communication Technologies (IPCEI ME/CT). The Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport is facilitating this support through the STEP Slovenia platform, which provides financial incentives and advisory services to Slovenian companies participating in cross-border, multi-country projects. These projects involve collaboration with partners from various EU Member States and focus on areas such as microelectronics, semiconductors, microchips, and communication technologies.
