This initiative focuses on developing a network of technology incubation hubs in Czechia to foster the growth of start-ups and spin-offs, especially in innovative AI fields. By 2025, the project aims to support around 250 start-ups with both financial aid and mentoring, helping them bring new AI-driven products and services to market.

Initiative overview

The Technology Incubation programme in Czechia supports early-stage start-ups and spin-offs in fields like AI, mobility, space, and sustainability. It was created to address the lack of early funding, mentoring, and customer access that often prevents young teams from growing. By 2025, the aim is to help around 250 start-ups bring new products and services to market.

Selected start-ups receive non-equity grants, tailored mentoring, and access to specialised hubs across the country. New cohorts are admitted in waves, and AI has emerged as one of the strongest tracks with dozens of projects already in incubation. The long-term plan is to build a national ecosystem where successful alumni and investors feed back into supporting the next generation of start-ups.
