The AI Assistant is a secure chat tool for public servants, designed to help them write, summarize and find information faster. It was developed to give government teams an easy and trusted way to use generative AI in their daily work. The goal is to improve efficiency while reducing duplicated efforts across ministries.

ALLiaNCE is the French government’s AI incubator led by DINUM, helping public administrations design and deploy useful AI tools. It supports teams with practical guidance and shared technical resources to avoid duplicating work across ministries. It also runs the State's AI community to share lessons learned and promote safe, trusted use of AI.

Albert API is a shared AI service run by the French government to help public administrations use generative AI tools safely and easily. It gives ministries and public teams access to a selection of AI models through a single, secure interface, without each organisation having to build its own system. It was developed to avoid duplication, reduce costs, and speed up the deployment of useful AI services for public officials.

The “Stratégie intelligence artificielle et données de santé 2025‑2028” is a French government initiative launched in July 2025 to structure the use of health data and artificial intelligence. It aims to improve access, sharing, and quality of health data while supporting AI deployment through regulation, governance, infrastructure, and training, in alignment with European data regulations and national innovation programmes.

The Conseil de l'intelligence artificielle et du numérique (Council for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technology) is an independent advisory body placed under the authority of the French minister responsible for artificial intelligence and digital affairs. Established by decree on 8 December 2017 and restructured by a further decree of 4 September 2025, it operates on a mandate running 2025–2027.

The Jean Zay supercomputer extension is a French government initiative investing €40 million, via the France 2030 programme, to expand the computing capacity of the Jean Zay supercomputer, operated by CNRS at IDRIS in Orsay. The extension focuses on upgrading GPU architecture to meet growing AI research demands and is expected to make Jean Zay the largest AI-dedicated supercomputer in France.

The strategy aims to position France as a leader in digital health by fostering innovation and supporting the development of advanced e-health solutions, with a specific focus on integrating AI-based technologies, e.g. by funding medical imaging advancements, developing AI-based diagnostic and treatment tools, and ensuring secure and ethical use of health data.

The Plan aims to provide patients with timely access to the latest genomic innovations and integrate genomics into routine healthcare to improve diagnosis and treatment, reduce diagnostic errors, and personalise therapeutic strategies.

The Public Digital Campus brings together and promotes the interministerial digital training offering. The goal is to equip public sector employees—both within and beyond the digital field—with transformative knowledge and skills that are essential for energising public action and delivering high-quality digital services.
